Copper Dragon

A few of the steps for the copper dragon today.

1. Drew the outline and cut with a bit of space round it. Then created a patina with heat.

2. result!

3. embossing by rubbing with my finger over a rubbing plate

4. trim and used a pencil on back to give definition to the outline.

I think I like the back too! Perhaps another day?

5. Copper Dragon!

When I did the outline with pencil, I laid it on the scrap of cloth.

I have already stitched the background, but I will show the process tomorrow when I have worked out how I am going to apply it.
