Seen at the V+A

Smartly attired... sleeping on in spite of the clatter of the cafe and deep chesty coughing now and then.

Poor chap eventually woke and took a swig of cough medicine

Even more interesting is the bigger picture.

An old chap doing the crossword at the same small table as if nothing unusual was going on. (I was trying to get a photo without him noticing, so only got his hands.)

From time to time he put his head back and dozed as well!

When the bowler hat woke, they did have a conversation, so I presume they knew each other.

All sorts of stories come to mind.
