wool skirts

So the skirts I cut out during the last week have had the seams and darts sorted. and the zips put in!

My favourite zip method is the lapped zip. For me it is more invisible than invisible zips - and less complicated. and it means you can use a not quite matching zip and it doesn't show.

Next step is to cut linings and stitch them.
Then insert while putting on waistbands.
And then the hems.

And then a good selection of warm skirts for what is left of winter!
