Strange sights

In October we went to RHS Wisley. Here is one of the unusual plants in the Glass House.

It looks as if something like ivy is climbing over the rock and up the pillar.

However, the 'rock' is not a rock. It is part of the root of a plant related to the cucumber!

Apparently it is meant to be easy to grow if you want to have a go!
