In fact you could say that some of these leapt out at me! I went looking for dragon fabrics but still wasn't sure after a bit of a rummage. Then I closed the cupboard and the spotty one was there on the floor. Oh, yes. This will do.
And then I went to the brocade cupboard which also has the silks in it. Oh yes, this silk (in the background) with a pale golden colour will do and the off cut of brocade might work for bindings or some sort of edgings.
So, now to begin to work out things like the size so I can develop the design.
